Bishop Griswold in the U.K.
A Palm Sunday - both the same and very different from other such liturgical observances by the 25th Presiding Bishop - included a procession around church yard in Cuatro Esquines.

In June, at the invitation of the president of Magdalen College, Oxford, Bishop Griswold preached the University Sermon at the outdoor stone pulpit in the annual observance of St. John Baptist Day.  He then went on to the Diocese of Salisbury to give the pre-ordination retreat for the ordinands to the priesthood.  He preached at their ordination on June 28 and again at Salisbury Cathedral the following day. During his time in England he also gave an address entitled Living the Mystery of Communion: An Anglican Perspective at a conference of the Modern Churchpeople's Union.
St. John Baptist’s Day, Magdalen College, Oxford
Inasmuch as this sermon ad populum is an annual occurrence on or near the Feast of the Nativity of St. John the Baptist, I am sure that across the years there has been a thorough exploration of all that the feast and the man himself have to reveal and teach us.
Salisbury Cathedral Sermon - Saturday June 28, 2008
“It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God,” we are told in the letter to the Hebrews. No one knew this better than Jesus and the Prophet before him. To say yes to the Spirit is always costly, however the Spirit may approach us.
Salisbury Cathedral Sermon - Sunday June 29, 2008
Cumbered by myrid ‘oughts’, and ‘shoulds’ and ‘musts’ and ‘not good enoughs’, many of us live in a world of self-judgement and self-castigation or as a variant reading of a passage in the letter to the Hebrews has it, hostility against ourselves.
